Alma Sina was born in Tropoja, on May 31st, 1975. She graduated in 2008, as a lawyer at the Faculty of Law, at the University of Tirana. In 2011, she completed the Master’s program for European and International Economic Law, at the University of Vienna in Austria.
Prior to the current position of the Advisor for Protocol Matters to the President of the Republic, H.E. Bajram Begaj, she worked as an auditor and then as a specialist for communication, publication, and foreign relations at the Supreme Audit Institution in the years from 2013 to 2022. From 2009 to 2013, she served as the First Secretary in charge for consular affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Vienna, Austria in the years 2009-2013.
In the framework of her further professional development, she has completed several trainings, among which: the four-month fellowship program for auditors organized by the U.S. Government Accountability Office in 2018 in Washington D.C, the personal data protection training organized by the Albanian School of Public Administration in 2015 in Tirana, performance audit training organized by the Center of Excellence in Finance in 2015 in Ljubljana, consular legislation training and the assistance of Albanian emigrants abroad organized by the International Organization of Immigration in 2011 in Tirana, the fourty-five day training for young Balkan diplomats at the Clingendael Institute funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in 2009 in The Hague, as well as other trainings related to compliance, financial and performance audit, as well as the drafting of institutional and communication strategy offered by different public supreme audit institutions in EU countries.
Mrs. Sina is married to Pullumb Sina and has a son, Klevis. She is fluent in English, German and has good knowledge of Italian language.
